You buy a NoDawgs product. We ship it. If something's wrong, we make it right. Custom Cathouses are made just for you, so they can't be returned. Be honest with us and we'll be honest with you.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of nodawgs.com and shop.nodawgs.com (together, the "Site") and any purchase you make from No Dawgs LLC ("NoDawgs," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Who Can Use the Site
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to purchase from us. By placing an order, you confirm you have the legal authority to do so and that the payment method is yours.
Products and Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and don't include tax or shipping unless stated. We try to keep product descriptions, photos, and specifications accurate, but small variations can happen — colors may look slightly different on your screen than in real life, and product photos may show items in different configurations than what you order. If we make a meaningful error in pricing or description and you've already ordered, we'll contact you to confirm or cancel before shipping.
We reserve the right to change prices, products, or product availability at any time, but changes don't apply to orders we've already accepted.
Orders, Payment, and Shipping
When you submit an order, you're making an offer to buy. We accept it by sending the order confirmation email and charging your payment method. We may decline orders for any reasonable reason — including suspected fraud, address verification failures, or out-of-stock items.
Payment is processed by Shopify, which handles your card details securely under PCI standards. We do not see or store your full card number.
We ship within the United States. Standard processing time is 3-5 business days for stock items and 2-3 weeks for custom Cathouses, plus shipping time. Shipping estimates are not guarantees — once a package is with the carrier, delivery timing is out of our hands.
Returns and Exchanges
Stock products
If you're not happy with a stock NoDawgs product (Backyard Kit with one of our four standard Cathouse designs, individual Petting Pads, Climbing Stairs, Stick Steps, or Elevated Pet Doors), you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided:
- The product is unused and in original condition
- All packaging and hardware are included
- You contact us at info@nodawgs.com before sending it back so we can issue a return authorization
The customer pays return shipping. Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll refund the original payment method (minus original shipping if any) within 5-10 business days.
Custom and personalized products — final sale
Custom Cathouses and any product with custom colors, custom engraving, or a personalized design code are final sale. We make these to order specifically for you and cannot resell them. By placing a custom order, you confirm you understand this.
If a custom product arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you designed, that's our problem and we'll fix it. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we'll send a replacement or issue a refund at our discretion.
Damaged or defective products
If anything arrives damaged or defective — custom or stock — contact us at info@nodawgs.com within 7 days with photos and your order number. We'll make it right with a replacement, repair, or refund, whichever is appropriate. Shipping damage is rare but happens. Don't throw out the packaging until we've sorted it out.
Custom Designs and Intellectual Property
The Cathouse you design
When you use our Cathouse designer, the specific color combination and engraved name you create is yours — we manufacture and ship that specific design only to you, and we won't reproduce your engraved name on someone else's order.
However: you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to manufacture, photograph, and depict your design (without your engraved name) for our marketing, customer galleries, and promotional materials. If you'd rather we never depict your specific design publicly, just let us know at info@nodawgs.com and we'll exclude it.
The NoDawgs brand and product designs
The NoDawgs name, logo, product designs, Cathouse structural patterns, color systems, photographs, and Site content are our intellectual property. You can share photos of your installation, mention us on social media, and tag us all you want — we love that. You can't copy our product designs, reproduce our printed materials, or use our brand in ways that suggest endorsement or partnership without our written permission.
User Content and Submissions
If you send us photos, videos, reviews, or messages — through the Site, the contact form, social media tags, or email — you give us permission to use them in our marketing (with attribution where it makes sense). We won't share private contact information publicly. If you want a photo or review removed, ask and we'll remove it.
Don't submit anything that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, contains malware, or you don't actually own.
Acceptable Use
Don't use the Site to break the law, harass anyone, scrape data, attempt to disrupt the Site or its security, impersonate someone else, or do anything else a reasonable person would consider abusive. We can suspend access for any of the above.
Warranties and Disclaimers
We warrant that NoDawgs products are free from manufacturing defects for one year from delivery. If a product fails under normal household use during that time, contact us — we'll repair or replace it at our cost.
The one-year warranty does not cover: damage from improper installation, damage from cats doing things cats sometimes do (we love them too, but a determined claw is a force of nature), normal wear and cosmetic changes over time, modifications you make to the product, or damage from moving, dropping, or improper storage.
Beyond the express warranty above, products and Site content are provided "as is." We disclaim all other warranties — express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement — to the maximum extent allowed by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or any product is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or damage to other property.
This isn't us trying to weasel out of taking care of customers. If we screw up, we'll make it right. This clause limits the theoretical maximum legal exposure of a small business — which is necessary for a small business to exist at all.
Installation and Safety
NoDawgs products are designed for installation on standard 16-inch stud walls using the included hardware. You are responsible for installing the product correctly, including locating studs and using appropriate fasteners for your specific wall construction. If you're not comfortable installing, ask a friend or hire a handyperson — improper installation can damage your wall, the product, or your cat.
We provide installation instructions with every kit and have video guidance available. We're not responsible for installation errors, wall damage from incorrect mounting, or injuries arising from improper installation or use.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the business or applicable laws change. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected on the Site for at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Before filing any formal claim, please contact us at info@nodawgs.com and give us 30 days to make it right. Most issues get resolved in a single email exchange.
